STRADALLI – BIKE AID to UCI Road World Championships in Doha

This year's UCI Road World Championships will be held in Doha, Qatar. And STRADALLI – BIKE AID will be in the middle as the team receives official start allowance from UCI for Team Time Trial.

It sounds again like crazy news or April's fool, but it is true and real. How can it be that a „small team“ goes to the official UCI World Championships and even more: how to try to challenge the „big guys“ from the World Tour such as BMC, SKY or Tinkoff?

Yes, indeed: we have been surprised the same way But we already received the confirmation from UCI in July, so we had enough time to prepare ourselves how we can announce this awesome news. It is a great honor for us but at the same time this opportunity means also a huge responsibility for the team, the riders and all involved people.

Yes, the guys from STRADALLI  – BIKE AID will be for sure the underdogs and the most important thing at this stage so far is sure to be a part of the World championships and that we made it there, but on the other hand everybody is highly motivated and ready to fight with all he has to achieve the best result possible. Six riders will represent the team colors of STRADALLI – BIKE AID besides the best teams in the world.

Also our partners and suppliers were the same way excited as we were when we told these news and there was not just one second of hesitation to support us a little extra for this event.

Team Time Trial is a huge invest in equipment, as it is a lot about aerodynamics etc. The challenge was also to adapt all of our equipment for this special demand and without any question the partners like STRADALLI CYCLE  (TT – frames), Citec (disc – wheels) or Bollé (TT helmets) or Biehler Sportswear with the new developed high tech TT suits jumped on our side and did their utmost to make all this come true. So our riders will definitely look fast when they will climb the starting ramp in Doha.

Given the fact that we actually are a small professional team with limited budget and based on great sponsor and the cycling community we never could imagine that we could take all these steps from winning UCI Africa Tour  to participate as a team in the UCI World Championships . In 2016 Many top 10 results in races of UCI category 1 and HC but also lot of podium places were taken this year. The best result so far was for sure Meron Teshome's 2^nd place on stage 11 in Tour of Qinghai Lake (UCI 2.HC) but also Nikodemus Holler delivered many strong performances with good results in the GC in Tour of gabon (UCI 2.1), Ireland or Tour of China. The team currently holds a special training camp in Bad Salzhausen to finetune the technique for team time trial. On Monday October 3^rd the last race in the Europe Tour will take place for the team at Münsterland Giro with guys like Marcel Kittel, Mark Cavendish or André Greipel before the riders and staff fly to Doha on next Wednesday

2015 A Year In Review For Stradalli Cycle

As we look back and review 2015 for Stradalli Cycle this was certainly the year where the company made their presence felt around the entire world. Whether it was our full carbon road bikes being used in the UCI Road World Championships at Richmond 2015 or our full carbon Mountain Bikes racing in Andorra, Stradalli established themselves as a global brand and we are just getting started.

USA Crits: Racing all over North America the team bonded early on with a great combination of seasoned vets and young talent. The team led the overall points standings for the majority of the season and had more pro racers finish in the top 10 of the standings than any other team including a 2^nd place overall finish.  

Local Domination: While we compete all over the world our home is South Florida and we wouldn’t be able to move forward unless we had a strong foothold in our own backyard. Our pro racers compete in local events throughout the year and this season saw more Florida racing victories than any other.

Mountain Biking: Whether it was Doug DeWeese dominating the FSC Championship on his full carbon 29er full suspension or Bob McCarty winning big races all over North America there is no doubt that we have some elite MTB riders who spent the year stuffing the company trophy case.

Sponsors Commit Early: With the success that 2015 brought and new teams forming in 2016 the sponsors were lining up early. We welcome new sponsors Papa John’s Sea Sucker, Catlike Bicycle Helmet among others and want to say thanks to past sponsors who committed to coming back early on including Safetti, Demon’s Cycle, Jaco Clothing, Diadora, FSA, Met-Rx, Bill Bone Bike Law and others. 

Richmond 2015 UCI Road World Championships: Despite great customer reviews on all our full carbon bikes Stradalli is not interested in just bragging, we put our money where our mouth is and that’s why we became the official sponsor of the Colombian National Team. Our full carbon road bikes were used in the races at Richmond 2015 and held their own against the top brands in the world. They were also featured and used during coverage of the races by ESPN Deportes, Universal Sports and others. 

New Teams: Flamingo Racing LLC announced the formation of the new Florida based cycling team: Stradalli Cycle/Papa John’s Woman’s Elite Team. This newly formed team will be racing across North America next year in the USA Crits Series and elsewhere.

Full Sponsorship: People want our full carbon road bikes and more so they want to be part of the Stradalli movement. The company joined with Wizard Racing Development Team for the upcoming season.

This German pro team has years of experience racing all around the world in UCI competition and will be turning heads in 2016 armed with the Stradalli Cycle full carbon Aversa road bikes. 

However, Bike Aid is more than just a race team; they raise awareness for an outstanding cause and bring opportunity and education to poverty-stricken communities in Africa. Stradalli Cycle/Bike Conti Team Aid Visiting South Florida To Train

The newly created Stadalli Cycle/Bike Aid Conti Team is in South Florida visiting from German. The team is training 6 hours a day and testing out the full carbon Aversa road bikes that they will be riding in the UCI 2016 season. They have also been enjoying the sights of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton and even taken a couple of rides out to the Everglades. It hasn't been all work as they have enjoyed plenty of sites including sitting court side at a Miami Heat game and checking out the giant snowman on Ft. Lauderdale Beach on A1A.

StradalliCycle will be the title and bike sponsor for the GermanProfessional Continental Team Bike Aid for the 2016 racing season. The commitment includes title sponsorship, providing full carbon road bikes for the 2016 UCI racing season as well as to help raise awareness for the mission of Bike Aid; helping athletes from Africa reach the highest levels of European cycling as well as provide education and other resources to their communities.

Stradalli Cycle Executives Visiting Las Vegas and Arizona

This week Stradalli Cycle CEO and entrepreneur Tom Steinbacher along with other executives are visiting Las Vegas and Arizona for meetings, a cycling camp and several events. Joining Steinbacher on the trip is Sergio Camilo Urrego, Senior Editor of Revista Mundo Ciclistico who has covered Stradalli Cycle’s sponsorship of the Colombian National Team at Richmond 2015 UCI Road World Championships this year as well as other events.

This will be a busy week in Las Vegas and Arizona for Stradalli as SEMA 2015 convention is going on this week as well. SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) is held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada and features over 2,000 new products in the world of electronics and the automotive industry. More than 60,000 are people attending SEMA 2015 this week.

ESPN Stops By Saturday To Check Out Team Colombia On Stradalli Cycle’s

No matter how hectic your schedule gets when preparations are being made for Richmond 2015 you always have time for ESPN. Georgina "Goga" Ruiz Sandoval, a cycling commentator who is covering the UCI Road World Championships for ESPN came by to do some coverage on the Colombian National Team and shot footage of training sessions on Stradalli Bikes.

Sandoval (pictured above along with Colombian Pro Racer Jhonatan Restrepo, Stradalli CEO Tom Steinbacher and Stradalli Cycle’s Cesar Grajales) spent the day meeting with racers from the team and checking out the different Stradalli cycles the team is using as they prepare for races at the UCI Road World Championships which began this weekend.

All weekend the racers from Team Colombia put these bikes to the test and have been telling Cesar, Grant Potter and myself how much they love the bikes, asking what kind of other designs we have, what are some of the new frames we are bringing in for 2016 and more. When I was introduced to Georgina from ESPN she even had some questions about the cycles we provided the Colombian team for warm ups and wanted to make sure they were being shown off in the video coverage of the team. No rest for Stradalli Cycle as they leave interbike at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas and heads directly to Richmond 2015 for the UCI Road World Championships.

Stradalli Cycle is attending as the official sponsor of the Colombian National Team.

Stradalli Cycle got one step closer to becoming a global brand as they were invited to Eurobike 2015 in Germany this week. The largest bike show in the world will be host to over 70,000 people from over 100 countries and feature the latest technology and news in the cycling world, not just professional racing.

As Stradalli Cycle both manufactures and races bikes they have a dual advantage to being at such an event. There is no word yet on how this will impact the 2016 racing season as there is still a lot to do before the conclusion of the 2015 season with one more race for the USA Crits Series as well as the UCI Road World Championships in Richmond 2015 coming up in September.

Stradalli Cycle Offical Sponsor of Colombian National Team for Richmond 2015 UCI Road World Championships

Stradalli Cycle has just announced that they will be the official sponsor of the Colombian National Team for the UCI Road World Championships in Richmond this year. This is a huge honor for Stradalli Cycle as the event is one of the biggest in professional cycling in the entire world.

The Super Bowl is 1 day a year, brings about 100,000 - 150,000 people to the hosting city and gets around 125 million viewers on television. The World Championships last 7 days, will bring at least 450,000 people to Richmond and will be viewed by over 300 million viewers worldwide.
