Carbon Fiber Bike: The Only Gym Equipment You Need

You bought gym equipment and it just sits there. We’ve all done it but the problem is you need to get healthier. You want to lose weight, have more energy, look better, feel better and more! You desperately want it but by the time you get off work, run errands and take care of everything else you have to do you are too exhausted to watch TV much less workout. That’s the reason you need a carbon fiber cycle, it is the gym equipment you don’t have to use for working out and still have fun with. You can’t take a treadmill everywhere, you can’t take weights everywhere but you can take a bike anywhere you want and in a lot of cases you can even ride it. Here are some reasons you should; actually you need to get a carbon fiber bike specifically:

1.     You get what you paid for: Carbon fiber bikes may be more money than the ones you get in retail stores but there is a reason. They last longer, weigh less and can take much more of a beating than your typical bikes. Those may not seem like important factors but consider this, when you have to haul your bike upstairs don’t you want it to be lighter? When you are going on a trail in the middle of the woods don’t you want to have the best quality bike? Those are two pretty good reasons to have a carbon fiber cycle.

2.     It pays for itself: What do you pay a month for gas? Imagine if you could cut that number in half! Now imagine being able to get rid of your gym membership, you don’t have to buy workout equipment and you also have less wear and tear on your car. Those are all things that happen when you have a cycle and use it frequently.

3.     Little motivation to get healthy: Buying workout equipment is not what is going to motivate you to get healthier. Getting that gym membership won’t either. The common mistake made when people search for health advice to lose weight is that they think if they eliminate watching TV and eating pizza they will naturally be healthier. Then you notice you are watching TV at the restaurant while eating a burger. Unless you are a professional athlete getting a workout doesn’t have to be an inconvenience, it can actually be fun. The more you workout the more motivated you are to eat healthy because you do not want to spoil your progress. So rather than having to run to the gym after work to get an hour of exercise in why not ride your bike to and from work?

4.     Wave to the nice people: You may not love the idea of riding your bike to and from work at first but wait until you do it. Remember your morning commute, the traffic, the cars not going on the green light because they are too busy looking at their cell phones, the construction workers standing around having their third cup of coffee? That’s what you are going to miss when you ride your bike to work! Can you do without all of that? Hopefully, but be sure to wave to all the nice people as you pass them by.

5.     Serenity now: Stress is a big factor in everyone’s lives and any health advice article you read will tell you that. The more stress you have the less likely you are to eat healthy and workout on a regular basis. Cycling helps with stress because going for a ride helps your mind to relax, it releases endorphins in your body which helps to increase happiness by reducing anxiety and depression and much more. How’s that for health advice?

When you are looking for carbon fiber bikes the important thing to remember is that you are investing in a lifestyle change, not just trying to lose weight or find a cheap way to get to work. Cycling is addicting and it goes well beyond health advice because people fall in love with the hobby and they incorporate it with everything. That’s why cycling is the most effective exercise for weight loss, it’s not because you are going full throttle 2 hours a day, it’s because you use your bike for so many reasons and it helps you to cut down on eating poorly. There are plenty of other advantages to having a bike but do you really need more than that?
